We had a little break in the cold, gray weather over the weekend so yesterday we were able to go out for a nice long walk. Kerry was so excited to get outside and stretch her legs. She got used to daily walks and playing outside , sometimes 2 or three times a day, over the summer and fall since coming home, so I think she's had a little bit of cabin fever. I know I have.

Looking for her squirrel friends. She still calls them "curls".

She spotted this giant ball at the store last night, so it came home with us.

We tossed it around the living room all evening. She had a blast. Judging by that smile, it was the best $2.86 I've spent in a while. I love watching her have fun, and listening to her laugh and squeal. This girl plays hard and laughs hard.

Her love of music has not faded, either. She loves listening to all types of music, from nursery rhymes to bands like Flyleaf. She loves making music, too, and we're more than happy to provide her with every opportunity to do so. We were at Mamaw's earlier today, where she found a guitar and a pink keyboard to rock out on. =)

I think there is something particularly adorable about our little girls in blue jeans, don't you?!

And yes, Lil Pumpkin has come home from T.arget or WalM.art with some $2 trinket that has brought her HOURS of endless fun, much like Kerry's new ball!

Glad to hear you and hubby got to go out to dinner . . . whenever people ask what we want (Christmas, birthdays) we always ask for restaurant gift cards now - gives us excuse to go out as a couple, without guilt of spending money on it ;o)

I can't believe how much she has grown in just a short amount of time. I just went back and looked at the oldest pictures of her. She has changed so much in the past 6? months. She's a doll. - Katie

Where did your snow go to so fast?!

And does that first picture ever give you a glimpse into what she is going to look like as a teenager. :)

Love it!

I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. Two year ago we were blessed to welcome our first child, a Daughter from China and are absolutely in love with her.
