WE GOT THE CALL!!! At a little before 10 this morning, at work, I got the call I have been waiting for. I couldn't believe it...our special needs advocate was telling me that they found a baby for us last night, she told us a few things about her and said that she is really cute. We can't post pictures yet but I can tell you this, they were right, she is BEAUTIFUL. Yep, we're in love =)!

Rock Band Rules!

We have been having so much fun with the W*I Rock Band game set that we got at Christmas. Almost everyone who drops by ends up playing. In fact, today Doug's sister Debbie and our niece Sydnie were over and we all had a great time rockin out =).

Debbie did really well on the drums

Celebrating Valentines Day (a bit early)

Jessica and Jamey came over to "help" me make some Valentines cupcakes (devils-food chocolate with cherry frosting) Jamey loves to decorate anything with sprinkles

Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?

No, no one's celebrating a birthday. He decided (insisted, actually) that since we baked and put frosting on something, the next logical thing would be to add a candle, sing "Happy Birthday"..

..and let him blow the candle out
(notice the frosting and chocolate crumbs all over his face?)

C'mon, you know you want to lick that bit that's hanging off the side.

I came home from work yesterday to a dozen beautiful red roses =). Thanks Doug xoxo

I drove out to my parents house over the weekend to see how they were faring. They have a wood-stove and a gas fireplace, a well, and plenty of antique oil lamps so I'm not worried about them, I just kinda wanted to drive out. Their phone lines are down so I wasn't able call ahead and it turned out they weren't even home, but at least I got lots of pretty scenery on the drive over =). Angie, these pictures are for you.

Sorry this one is crooked, it was a drive by photo.
I couldn't resist. I love horses, and they looked so cute in their "blankets"

My photo
I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. Two year ago we were blessed to welcome our first child, a Daughter from China and are absolutely in love with her.
