Kerry and I "did some shopping" after work on Saturday. We have a shopping center here in town that is perfect for leisurely outdoor strolling and entertaining a toddler who loves to walk and meet/charm the socks off of, new people. Plus it has a couple outdoor water fountains and a few stairs to practice climbing ( which is actually what we spent the majority of time doing). We also managed to pop in to a few stores.
And after reading Jill's post yesterday, I decided to take Kerry to a local bookstore today where we spent a couple of hours in their children's section.

I can totally see why she charms the socks off people! Adorable!
Aren't bookstores the greatest thing! :)

I bet Kerry did have fun at the bookstore. Destiny had a blast at the book store. We happened to take Destiny to the bookstore in the mall at Oxmore A few weeks ago. We were there for about two hours too. They have a little table and chairs set up in the children s area. I sat on the floor next to her. She had so much fun looking at all the children s books. She even looked at a book with a little boy that was already sitting at the table looking at a book. She was so good in the bookstore. She fell in love with a Bary book, Dora Book and a small book with thick hard pages of different pictures of objects like animals, a baby and etc.. Each page had one word that described the object. She kept starring at the picture of a baby sleeping. The baby looked like her new baby sister. They have a large play boat in the Oxmore mall right outside of sears. Destiny loved playing with the other children and learned how to go down the slide. In Macys Destiny loved to ride the elevator. She had to get out of the stroller while we were in the elevator. When it stopped Mike had hold of her hand but she slipped loose from his hand and ran back into the elevator. She almost got to ride the elevator by herself. Opps! That would of been scary! While we were still in Macys she wanted to walk instead of riding in her stroller. At one point Mike was carrying her. An older man came up to us and said he thought this belonged to us. It was one of Destiny's sandles. It must of come off while Mike was holding her and playing with her. What an adventure. When we got home she keep opening the blinds to the deck and I think she was looking for Kerry. The dogs were already in the house so I know she wasn't looking for them. She just kept looking around. She doesn't usually act like that. We feed her dinner, gave her a bath then we had to take her home. It was a fun day. When she got home she showed off her three new books. I bet she slept well that night. She only slept for ten minutes in the car the whole day. She is really growing up so fast. Kerry has really changed since she has been with you both. She is such a beautiful little girl. She seems so smart and you can tell she really loves you both. Shes lucky to have such great parents.
Hope to see you soon.
Take Care!
Love Kim
