Happy Mothers Day to all of my Bloggy Friends!

Even though my Daughter is still halfway across the world and we've never met, Doug decided that I should still be able to celebrate Mother's day, for the first time. I woke up this morning to beautiful flowers, a card from Doug ( he even signed Kerry's name, too, and left me a very sweet note inside). He can be so thoughtful =).

What a sweet hubby you have. Even though Kerry is not in your arms yet, you're still a mama! It won't be long.

Happy Mother's Day!!

You DEFINITELY should celebrate the mother's day before you travel. That was the mother's day that, to me, meant the most. I was a mother, but I wasn't quite yet...that was when the idea of it loomed the largest and held the most significance. Now, every day is "QQ Day", and honestly mother's day paled in comparison. Every day is so full now that the designation doesn't mean as much to me. This is the big celebration for you - you have just become a mother to her. Congratulations!!!!

I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. Two year ago we were blessed to welcome our first child, a Daughter from China and are absolutely in love with her.
