Well, it turns out I had less time with Ozzie than I thought. He apparently threw a blood clot, which can happen with his heart condition, and had to be rushed back to the emergency vet's office. There was nothing they could do. I held him as he passed away. I'm heartbroken. Words can't say how much I miss will miss him. He was special. He was so sweet and affectionate and beautiful. He loved for me to lay on the couch so he could curl up in the crook of my arm, lay his head on my shoulder, and sleep. My baby..my buddy.

I'm so very sorry. Ozzie was a beautiful cat. We are thinking of you.
GIN,
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT OZZIE. THAT IS SUCH A LOSS AND SOME SAY-- IT IS ONLY AN ANIMAL BUT I KNOW WITH MY DOGS, THEY ARE TOTALLY LIKE A CHILD AND PART OF THE FAMILY. I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS.
I AM GLAD THAT YOU COMMENTED ON MY BLOG. IT FEELS GOOD TO KNOW I AM NOT ALONE IN MY DEPRESSION. I AM SO NOT A DEPRESSED PERSON BUT ALL THIS HAS JUST GOT ME DOWN. I CANTBELIVE HOW MANY HORRIBLE THINGS HAVE HAPPEN RECENTLY. BESIDES THE NATURAL DISASTERS THE OTHER THINGS LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHAPMANS JUST REALLY MAKE YOU THINK. THE PROBLEM IS YOU CAN DRIVE YOURSELF CRAZY THINKING ABOUT THE WHAT IF'S AND REALLY WE CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT THEM OTHER THAN TAKING NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO BE SAFE BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS-- A LOT OF THINGS-- THAT ARE TOTALLY OUT OF YOUR CONTROL. THOSE ARE THE THINGS- LIKE WITH THE CHAPMANS- THAT SCARE ME TO DEATH. I GUESS WE CANT LIVE IN FEAR BUT IT DOES BOTHER ME A LOT.
ANYWAY, SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A FATALISTIC DOWNER BUT LIKE I SAID, IT IS JUST REALLY GETTING ME DOWN.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE COMMENT ON MY BLOG. IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER.
THANKS,
CHRISTY :)
