warning..may be too graphic for squeamish readers.

Did you know that, with enough determination....and sphincter strength.. one can go 6 days without a BM?

Did you know that even a three year old girl can posess such strength of will and sphincter?

Did you know that it's pretty much impossible to force this same three year old girl to sit on a potty chair when she's scared to have a BM?

Did you know that, even after 3 enemas and multiple doses of Miralax, certain three year old girls can still "hold it in", thereby requiring the Dr to prescribe Magnesium Citrate (the stuff they give patients to "prep" them for a colonoscopy) as a last resort?

Did you know that, while "night time absorbency" pull-ups work fine for containing pee, they are not absorbent enough to contain Magnesium Citrate induced poo?

Did you know that its a great idea to keep folded in half bathroom towels on the floor at strategic places through the house after a three year old has taken 3 days worth of enemas and laxatives...especially mag-citrate?

Did you know that even with tears running down her cheeks and poo running down her legs, this Mama still thinks she's the most precious and adorable thing ever.

If you already knew all of these things..don't laugh...this is still my first time at the Mama rodeo =).

(This photo was taken on Mother's Day at Church..they rolled out the red carpet for the Moms.)

She was sooo miserable..it just broke my heart. Thankfully she finally got relief and feels soooo much better today.

Did you know that after being vomited on by an almost 20 month old multiply times you still want to hold them even if you know it is going to happen again because you want to make it all better. it really gets you when those big blue eyes look at you and say mama while puking you still grab them and tell them it is all going to be OK. Welcome to the gross part of being a mama but it is still all worth it in the end.

I can't imagine what your poor little darling went through. I'm glad she's gotten relief and is feeling better now.

Give her lots of hugs from us.

Oh poor Kerry and her mommy! Tate will hold both for an amazing amount of time. I almost wonder if it has to do with her earlier life in the orphanage where they would set the kids on potty seats forever. Or maybe it is just being a 2-3 yr old...

Bless her sweet heart (and yours). I know she must have been uncomfortable, and I hope this phase passes quickly for both of you! She is so beautiful!

Oh Gin,your poor wee girl! I have only just experienced Gracie being unwell last week and I was an emotional mess! You have this powerful feeling that you have to "make it all better".
I think you are such a wonderful Mummy....Dx

You know what? Lottie is 6 1/2 years old and still poops in a pull up. She is so afraid to go on the potty, I have tried everything and gave up a long time ago. Poor little Kerry Lu...lifting her up in prayer this morning. It is so amazing how long Lottie can hold it in as well:(

I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. Two year ago we were blessed to welcome our first child, a Daughter from China and are absolutely in love with her.
