Yep....still waiting
But we are officially 9 months down on our wait! Yay! However the thought hasn't escaped me that if we were doing this parent thing the old fashioned way like most other people, we'd be putting finishing touches on the nursery and packing for the hospital. But then..I've never been one to do things like most other people =). As for the nursery..we haven't even begun aside from buying the crib, armoire, and bedding ( which remain unassembled in the basement). I just can't bring myself to put the room together just yet, and then have to stare at an empty nursery for what will probably be at least another year or two wait. We're just keeping an eye on the R*mor Queen website, watching the numbers each month, and waiting to see what the CCAA is doing...then we'll decide when to start working on the nursery.

Savannah 08

We took a much needed vacation to Savannah, Ga last week and just fell in love with the place. It's beautiful, historic, elegant, unique, quirky, fun....and relaxing. It was a very relaxing and restorative vacation...even though I came home with and ear infection and perforated eardrum (ouch). We had perfect weather the entire time. Oh, and the food was out of this world (especially the Pirate's House). Lots of fresh seafood and good southern cooking. We will be going back someday. It's been kind of a rough few weeks and this was just what the doctor ordered. Enjoy the pics.

I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. Two year ago we were blessed to welcome our first child, a Daughter from China and are absolutely in love with her.
