Here's a little picture heavy re-cap of our fun-filled-but-exhausting weekend. We started off by spending Saturday and Nana and Papaw's place at the lake. Kerry and cousin Sydnie always have fun together.
Pop-sicles and golf cart rides with Papaw John are always on the agenda at the lake.
We pic-nicked at Bernheim with my family.
We had a big ol' spread of fried chicken, potato salad, mac-n-cheese, baked beans, and lots of other yummy extras.
Kerry and Aunt Stephanie are just a little fond of each other =).
Uncle Dale showing Kerry his bubble blowing technique.
My sweet Momma...who celebrated her 60th Birthday this past week.
This is a new installation at Bernheim. It's a maze made out of woven vines. How cool is that?!
She's a monkey =).
After spending the day in the 90+ degree heat, Kerry was more than ready to try out her pool...purchased just after my last post. She is at a very independant stage right now (when it suits her, he heh) and she insisted on getting into her swim suit by herself. She came out of the room with the bottoms on, somehow, sideways and and the top all twisted up..but she was proud of herself, nonetheless =). She even got me in it briefly..with little coersion. Like I said, it was hot! After my little dip in the pool I kicked back in my adirondack chair with an iced tea, a magazine, and of course my Canon at the ready.
She splashed herself a bit too much I guess =)

Oh I love this post Gin.......Kerry is just like our Gracie, and has her own idea of how to wear her clothes :)
Hehe, that bikini is just fabulous!! Love how she wears it, love how she is so proud of herself.
Sounds like a fun weekend... and your pictures are beautiful, they certainly prove that you guys were having plenty of fun!

Oh my goodness. I laughed so HARD at her little twisted bikini. She looks so funny. That independence will serve her well throughout life. She is as cute as can be and now I am craving fried chicken;)
(hee hee) I love this girl!
