This weekend we attended our adoption agency's annual picnic at Boyds orchard. The weather was absolutely perfect, and Kerry had a great time. There was a hayride, playground, petting zoo...
She fell in love with this sweet miniature donkey...I kinda did, too.
They also had a huge pirate ship play structure. Kerry is all about pirates lately, thanks to D*sney's "Jake and the Neverland Pirates", so she thought this was pretty awesome.
Umm..Honey...I think the binoculars go the other way.
There, that's more like it =).
Speaking of...we were in the D*sney Store yesterday and when we walked in, one of the employees greeted Kerry with a "Hello Princess!". Kerry just blinked at her so the employee asked her if she was a Princess to which she replied:
"No...I'm just Kerry." Ha ha. However she has watched both "Cinderella" and "The Little Mermaid" this week, so we'll see if that mindset lasts.

Piper is obsessed with Jake & his pirates too.....she's super jealous of the pirate ship Kerry got to go on!
LOL! Oh Gin I got a big kick out of her looking in those binoculars the wrong way! We were also at our Adoption Picnic on Sunday! :) I just didn't bring my camera!

Also, I have to tell you that Lilah cannot stand being called a princess. In fact, it really insults her and she seems to get called it by a lot of lady cashiers for some reason. I usually have to calm her down to not make a scene and have the women feel bad - she would be very quick to tell them that she is NOT a princess. Ahhhh! She is not normally rude, but the word 'princess' brings out a very defensive side of her! Oh well, she'll get over it soon, I hope! Maybe I should let her watch a princess movie, she might change her mind! Haha!
